Week in Review
Here's a look back at our DERBY WEEK!
We were visited by my friend, Mr. Neil Pessin. He is a horse trainer! He brought all sorts of neat things for the students to see and touch!

We learned about Thoroughbreds.

And even applied our knowledge to help us identify adjectives and adverbs.

We also studied the Author's "Big Fat Point!" (that's his/her purpose for writing) and the details to support it.

This helped us understand how to write our own paragraphs.

We also had a little bit of fun with writing persuasive pieces to Mr. Derby about animals that should, or should not, be allowed in the Kentucky Derby.

These were CRACKING ME UP!!!

In Math, we had a blast with our 3D shapes.

We even learned by stretching our brain to learn how to draw 3D shapes.

Have a great week!
