Week in Review
Here's a look back at our fun! I've gotta be honest - I'm short on pictures because I always get so wrapped in what we are doing that I forget to pull out my phone!

We wrapped up our study of MLK Jr. by writing paragraphs based on our research.

It was a fun challenge to go from "bullet points" to complete sentences.

Once Friday rolled around, we had a great time celebrating!

We did a Valentine themed Escape the Room
that ended with...
ROCKETS!

Hope you had a great weekend!

Week in Review
We've been having fun diving into research over the past week! We have been learning about Martin Luther King Jr. in a variety of ways.
We've practiced reading and revising a text about him.
We've used PebbleGo to find key details about him!
And soon we will use those key details to write paragraphs!
Ultimately this will lead to a full-blown research project on another African American Achiever.
 The kids are so excited!
We've also been doing some exploration to understand why parts of the world have daytime while others have nighttime.
 We wrote about it.
 And created our own diagrams!

I apologize that we are short on pictures this week. I hope to have more this week!

Week in Review
This year is flying by!
Here is a look back at some of our fun lately.

We had a "visitor" on the 99th day of school: Evil Dr. Double Digit! He tried to stop us from entering triple digits - the 100th day of school. We had to complete all sorts of fun tasks in order to prove we were ready.

After we proved we were ready, we started another week of fun learning.
We learned about adjectives and had fun designing our own anchor charts.

We put our adjectives in our writing:

We learned some new math games!

Have a great week!
