Week in Review
For example, this past week, we began learning about how to take "sloppy copy" notes while you read. This helped us find the main idea and special details about particular African American Achievers that we are researching.
So far, we have studied Ruby Bridges:
Lebron James:
and we began learning about Rosa Parks:
.
The kids had an opportunity to complete their own research and take notes about what they learned. From here, we turned our notes into PARAGRAPHS!
They are (as I affectionately tell them) CRUSHING it.
We learned some new math games...
Had a special visitor :-P
and got sent to the principal's office by Ms. Ray!
Ms. Ray rewarded us for being the BEST class (yes, even better than FIFTH GRADERS) she had all day long. What a special prize! :)
Have a fantastic week!
