Week in Review
What a wild week! Even with only 3 days of school, we were able to do so many fun things!
On Monday, your students arrived at school only to discover that Evil Dr. Double Digit did NOT want us to make it into triple digits for school. Consequently, we had to complete a series of tasks to defeat him and let us move past the 99th day of school.
We also completed an art project to introduce our next unit of study: African American Achievers. The students were tasked with completing a design using black and white paper. By the end, each student had the opportunity to share their project with the class. Finally, we discussed how the art would look different if it were only one color. In the same way, our world is a better place because everyone comes together to make one, beautiful world.
