Week in Review
Your kiddos had a blast learning about money this past week! We practiced counting coins, comparing values, and creating equivalent values. I was so impressed by how much they already knew about counting money!
We also started work on our upcoming research project. Your first grader will be helping design a safe zoo that no animals can escape from! Part of their assignment when they attend the zoo this Wednesday is to observe what the zoo has put in place to keep all of the animals safe.
To get us started, we practiced researching sharks! The kids are going to use their new skills in using text features to research their own animal!
We practiced using text features to learn about habitats, too!
Glossaries are tough but your kiddos did beautifully.
Your kiddos also requested that I share this fun song with you to practice their language skill at home:
Have a great week!
