Kid-Friendly Objectives
I can correctly use prefixes to determine the meaning of a word.
I can change the meaning of a word by using prefixes.
I can read information texts and write important facts about a topic.

I can read, write, and identify words with the long u sound (u_e, ew, oo).

Spelling List
Please continue to practice writing your spelling words in sentences! We had SO many kiddos earn 100% this week. They were able to join me for a Lunch Bunch in the classroom with lunch and PBS Kids! :)

Week in Review
Last week was our first dip into researching entirely on our own!
We recently completed our penguin research, as you know. And have been diving into small group research with rain forests. We're doubling up on research this week by researching habitats AND an animal of our choice. Check out these kiddos doing their research...they're practically 2nd graders!

Very few photos this week but we were jam-packed with research all week long! We are ready to keep the momentum going throughout this week. :)
