Week in Review
Here's a quick look back at our week!
The kids are so excited to begin our work on Fictional Narratives. We began by brainstorming characters who would fit certain settings.
Good authors also use other stories as mentor texts! This week, we focused on Little Red Riding Hood.
We were able to use story elements from this familiar fairy tale to help us think about our own stories...as well as create our own fractured fairy tales like this one:
Math also took a fun turn this week! We are working to master our counting patterns (2s, 5s, 10s) and making sure we understand what those patterns truly represent.
Have a great week!
